Peverall & N Jarman opening the innings to a slow start scoring 17 from the first 5 overs then Peverall was caught off the bowling of Smart then 6 balls later he removed Manning for a duck. The Axbridge innings was not going any where till Packham arrived at the crease hitting 47 from 47 balls hitting 3 boundary fours and 1 six with good support from J Fisher 19 not out from 23 balls steering Axbridge to 136-7 from their 35 overs.
