She initially refuses to participate, but Belldandy persuades her. Sora moves in with the others at the temple, and Skuld builds a race track for her to practice on. Skuld also builds a robot to drive the kart for Sora, and Urd tries to transform Sora's personality with one of her potions, but both schemes are unsuccessful. With Sora about to give up, Belldandy convinces her to try one last time. Sora finally succeeds, but on the day of the race she falls ill, brought on by her fear of failure.
