In the first issue, "Introduction", the basic premise is established with the year 9999, Nightwolf, Future Warrior, and Nightshadow battling against the forces of Justice Racer. In the second story of the first issue, "Fast Serve", Nightwolf is battling a firey Tennis Racket monster created by Justice Racer. In the third story, "Shadows", Justice Racer attacks Ramshackle and plants some shadowy undead monsters that slowly kidnap people in the night. Nightwolf puts a stop to it when they attempt to kidnap him.
