Yuka Nakata is a video game translator that worked for Nintendo in the 1990s. Her only Metroid credit was under special thanks in Metroid II: Return of Samus. Most notably, Nakata was part of the localization team for the cancelled NES port of the original Mother, which was released many years later on Virtual Console as EarthBound Beginnings. Her other credits include Super Tennis, X, Mario Paint, Super Mario Land 2: Six Gold Coins, Super Play Action Football, Battle Clash, Vegas Stakes and EarthBound, where she was again a translator.
