Sidney Phalanx was a controversial Imperial veteran. He was demoted several times for insubordination, but he continued along, incorrigible, and often times flat-out refused orders, realizing it would be suicidal for his fighter squadron. He was deeply respected by his subordinates, but his loyalties were based sloely on the lies that the Empire has sown, and he believed himself to be, at heart, a good person.
