The High Hand was a passenger barge that was owned by the Oblee crime lord Nirama during the waning years on the Galactic Republic. In c. 31 BBY, Nirama opened up the Cularin system asteroid belt for exploration, sparking the Confederation Rock Rush, and he traveled to the belt in the High Hand. He summoned the Heroes of Cularin to meet with him aboard the Hand and after they had arrived, he hired them to investigate a set of co-ordinates located within the asteroid belt, assigning the Rodian Teeloo to assist them.
