Selina Matheson (nee Roberts, previously Cook) is the foster daughter of Irene Roberts and the wife of Steven Matheson. Selina is originally played by Tempany Deckert, but in 1996, she fell ill and Louise Crawford replaces her while she's recovering. A year later Deckert decided to leave the show, but made a brief return another year later. Her return was filmed in Ironbridge and her final appearance is where is agreed to marry Steven.
