The 2005 East Regional of the NCAA Tournament took place March 25 and 26, 2005, at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The regional was hosted by Boston University. The participants were: * 1. Boston College Eagles * 2. North Dakota Fighting Sioux * 3. Boston University Terriers * 4. Mercyhurst Lakers Boston College was the Hockey East champion, and Mercyhurst was the Atlantic Hockey champion. North Dakota and Boston University advanced to the NCAA Tournament by way of at-large bids.
