The Neo Majapahit Empire (Javanese: Kakaisaran Majapahit Anyar, Indonesian: Kerajaan Majapahit Baru) is a vast sovereign archipelagic empire based on the island of Java. Neo Majapahit is an empire of 98 tributaries, stretching from Sumatra to New Guinea; consisting of former Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Cambodia, Sulu Archipelago, Philippines, East Timor, and north Australia. Neo Majapahit has an estimated population of over 750 million people and is the world's third most populous country and the most populous Kejawen-majority country. The world's most populous island of Java contains 49% of the country's population.
