Due to the large span of time between meeting the Bird Knights and these monsters, the Redplant Covers have much higher stats than any of their predecessors, being particularly noticeable in their large HP pool. They also have reduced their moveset by taking out the Desperate Head Butt from their list, so this only leaves the multi-hitting Woodpecker Thrust and Flying Dive Kick attacks to contend with. Still, the same advice given for the Bird Knights also applies here: as long as the player does a good job blocking, they shouldn't have any problem with these monsters, although the battle could take a bit of time if Song Magic isn't used.
