The Tashmore Lake poisoning (also called "'The Lakeside Horror") occurred in 1990, when eight people were poisoned at a church picnic at Tashmore Lake in Tashmore, Maine. Six of them died; Clayton Riggs and Ella Ferguson were the only two survivors. The crime was never solved, and no one was ever arrested.
