Noxum is a spiny nixie who, during the time of Ultima IV, can be found in a pool behind Serpent's Hold northern side. Strangely for his kind, Noxum was friendly, and was willing to speak with the Stranger. He mentioned that there were many ships at the bottom of the sea, and that any survivors of the wrecks would know where to search for them. He then proceeded to ask if the Stranger had heard of the H.M.S. Cape, and spoke to the hero of its magical wheel, which could strengthen the vessel's hull.
