Ferron was a lanky rat in Raga Bol's crew. During a siege of Redwall Abbey he climbed through a window and attempted to slay Abbot Carrul, but failed because Martha Braebuck jumped up and pushed him out (incidentally her first footsteps). Presumably he died from the fall, because he is unheard of throughout the rest of the book.
