The PP-16979/AM-Sh is the United Nations Space Command recharger for the Weapon/Anti-Vehicle Model 6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle weapon. It recharges the integrated non-replaceable BA-53635/PLMD battery of the Spartan Laser. However, UNSC logistics are insufficient to provide rechargers in the field so most Spartan Laser units are not accompanied with a PP-16979/AM-Sh recharger, leaving it with limited usage before having to be discarded.
