The World Search is a built in feature that allows you to search the game for a word of your choice. This feature also allows you to "follow" a target which places a flag on your map as well as a directional arrow around your character. World Search can be used to search for NPCs, enemies, and even objects ("Pillar" shows the Earth Pillars in Silverspring). The World Search button is at the top-left of the minimap and uses the backspace key as its (default) shortcut.
