Viony Lem was the first host of the Lem Trill symbiont. She was born in 2141 and died in 2226, and she was 19 when she was joined. (Starship Independence) Viony was a classical concert pianist by training, and was joined to the Lem symbiont for 65 years. They were joined in 2161, in the same year that the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet Academy were founded (Starship Independence: "Ultraviolet").
