It would not be possible to take a picture in absolutely no light as the method of recording an image requires some light. There is a difference between the perception of no light and actual no light. Humans may perceive a dark room as completely dark when there is a small amount of light present. A photography taken with the shutter open for a longer period of time may be able to produce some image on that available light
