The Blade of Kesmek is a battle scythe developed by the Prophet of Justice for his Jiralhanae Chieftain Cronus. It was created by Justice in an attempt to get in the good graces of the Prophet of Truth, as Truth had earlier created the similar Fist of Rukt for his Chieftain Tartarus. The scythe is an extremely powerful weapon incorporating all the latest technology reverse engineered from Forerunner artifacts. The blade is strong enough to penetrate enhanced body shields and can hold directed energy, becoming a long-range weapon as well as short-range.
