Mirumoto Taoist Swordsmen were ascetic bushi who pursued enlightenment and swordsmanship with equal dedication. They maintained a small dojo deep within the most inaccessible Dragon Mountains. In the 8th century one Taoist Swordsman had been eventually raised as a Mirumoto Daimyo. No daimyo since that time had studied with the Taoist Swordsmen.
