A Crisis battlesuit is a highly advanced piece of equipment that is used by the Tau. It is only granted to a Fire Warrior who has proven themselves in battle and thus been promoted to a Shas'ui; It is heavily armed and armoured and is highly versatile. Battlesuits have 3 hardpoints, each hardpoint can be armed with a selection of different weapons and support systems to suit many battlefield roles; all battlesuits are equipped with a jet pack. Dense nanocrystalline alloy is used for the armour giving the battlesuit high impact resistance without making the suit too heavy which would decrease the efficiency of the jet pack.
