New Doom (sometimes spelled NewDoom) is a website "dedicated to the fans and community of id Software's Doom games" and part of the MGE Network that was founded in July 2000. The site is owned and operated by William "Phoebus" Mull who is assisted by several moderators for different areas of its forums. The news page was maintained by Darren "Doom_Dude" Finch who is also one of said moderators. Notable hosted sites once included the homepages for Doom Legacy and Doomsday. However as of June 1st 2009, New Doom stopped hosting any sites and also stopped updating the news page.
