Ardanos was an Arch-druid of Albion. He was the father of Bendeigid and Dieda and grandfather to Eilan and Senara. Due to Eilan's lover Gaius he became great-grandfather to Gawen, the first Merlin in the years after the Roman invasion of Britain.
