Specimen AP-03 was the designation for a protoss who bore hypertrophic scars, and was studied by terran scientists as part of Project Blackstone. Dr Leah Martine carried out cross-sectional analysis and electrochemical stimulation as part of her preliminary study, and forwarded her results to Dr Warren Held. Held was impressed by her work, but criticized her for "anthropomorphizing" her subject too much.
