Spots was a horse in the Tortallan Universe, living in the fifth century of the Human Era in Tortall. Numair Salmalín rode him while travelling with the Queen's Riders in the summer of 449 HE and when he travelled to Dunlath with his student Veralidaine Sarrasri the following year. Spots was a very patient horse, which was just as well because Numair wasn't very good at riding and often daydreaming or pondering magical problems, which would have lead to him fall off most other horses. Spots appeared in Wild Magic and Wolf-Speaker.
