In the episode Dead of Night, most of the characters see ghosts at Kessel House. However, for much of the time, Reese has no idea that the house really is haunted. He is therefore very puzzled by the odd behaviour of the others, particularly Tracy Vetter. It is only at the very end of the episode that Reese also sees a ghost: his brother appears at the door of the house, salutes, and turns away to show several bleeding bullet holes where he was fatally injured in Vietnam. Later, in his office, Reese looks at the photograph of his brother.
