After hearing of Damon's desire to use an Alien for music, Brangwen took the job in order to stay in Synsound employment for a few more months, as he was already past the corporation's retirement age. The only reason Synsound had not forced him into retirement was that he was the only one to volunteer to work with Eddington. Alongside Darcy Vance, Michael meets with Damon Eddington to begin Eddington's project and present to him the Xenomorph egg that Ahiro and his men had procured. Michael introduces himself to Damon, expressing his appreciation for his music.
