Daidoji Botan was the architect who rebuilt Kosaten Shiro in merely three years after the massive damage it took in the beginning of the War of Silk and Steel. He strengthened the wooden walls with stone buttresses and towers, causing some Crane to remark that Kosaten Shiro had been rebuilt by the Kaiu, much to the chagrin of Botan.
