Reginald Hanson (31 May 1840 - 18 April 1905) was a businessman and Conservative Party politician. The son of Samuel Hanson of Epsom, Surrey, he was educated at Tonbridge and Rugby Schools and Trinity College, Cambridge, graduating BA in 1864 and MA in 1868. He joined the family firm of Hanson, Son and Barter, dealers in tea, coffee, fruit and spices of Botolph Lane in the City of London, rising to be the head of the company.
