Neon Genesis Evangelion RPG: The NERV White Paper is a card-based role-playing game released by Kadokawa Shoten on April 20, 1996. The set consists of 138 pages dedicated to explaining the rules and various story inserts, plus 20 pages of cut-out cards for playing. A map of Tokyo-3 that serves as the game board is also included in the set. This game introduces the new pilot Maria Vincennes and two new Angels not included in the series: Barakijal and Iblis.
