Yyeta'a was a female Selkie from the planet Pacifica. In 2381, in the wake of the Borg Invasion and the refugee crisis at iy'Dewra'ni, Yyeta'a was called up as a member of the Pacifica Security reserves to work as a crew supervisor during the construction of a safety barrier around the iy'Dewra'ni camp.
