The Resistance Infantry Corp is the primary ground defense force of the Resistance. They are deployed as all purpose foot soldiers, for example as escorts to the runners who reload the APUs. When serving as basic foot troops they prove ineffective against Sentinels even in numbers and so their role becomes support to the APUs. They seem to wear the same uniform as APU pilots consisting of a red tank top, drab pants, boots and helmets. They are equipped with lightning rifles and a common tactic is to concentrate their firepower into a small area where the Sentinels are advancing.
