The Calgary Dawgs were a collegiate summer baseball team in the Western Major Baseball League that played in Foothills Stadium from 2003-2005, winning the WMBL championship in 2004 in front of a league record crowd of nearly 3500. The team is suspended for the 2006 season after they were kicked out of Foothills by Peter Young and the Calgary Vipers. The team has announced that it will relocate to Okotoks for 2007, where a new 2000 seat ballpark is being built.
