Verdix Prime was a planet that once held a Human settlement. Unfortunately for its inhabitants, the planet was discovered and subsequently invaded by the Tyranid. Despite the inhabitants' putting up as best a fight as they could, they failed to prevent the decimation of the world and all species on-world were obliterated, their biomass added to the Hive Fleet for creation of more Tyranids.
