I believe it occurs in one of the two episodes that follow Inaugeration, Lost City parts 1 and two. Lost City Part 2, the Pres states to Kinsey "Consider your resignation tendered". Basically saying if he didnt quit he was fired. This happens when Kinsey tries to take over the SGC after Anubis' forces begin dialing in to earth as part of their attack.
