The Normandy Campaign (or Operation Overlord) was one of the most important operations during the Second World War. It has appeared on numerous occasions (both hostile and neutral) on Issuing Orders, ranging from the epic battle set around the landings at Omaha Beach, the battle over the river Mederet, the defence of Cherbourg and neutral threads set around the taking of Carentan.
