Mr. Gauss is a minor Non-Player Character from Grandia who was the president of the Adventurer's Society until his death sometime before the game's events begin. Before departing Parm, Lilly gives Justin a letter to hand to Mr. Gauss upon arrival at New Parm, unfortunately for Justin, Mr. Gauss has since passed and the the adventurer's society is now being run by his deluded son, Pakon. Not much is known about Mr. Gauss except that he knew Justin's Father and mother to some degree.
