Established in the urban sprawl of Pre-war Denver, Philly's was an attempt to bring East Coast style Italian food to the area. It was located at a busy intersection near the University of Denver. It catered primarily to students, and would often be filled with them until closing time, owning to the taste of the food. Philly's was noted as one of the upcoming restaurants of the city and crowded most days.
