Naxen's Fancy is a higher quality eating house in the Corus of the third century of the Human Era. Verene's mother is working there as a barmaid and brings regularly gossip home from work. Gershom of Haryse invites Dogs to suppers there when they have wound up big cases. He has invited Matthias Tunstall and Clara Goodwin there more than once. It was on one of these suppers that Lord Gershom told them the truth about how he captured the Bold Brass gang and took in Rebakah Cooper and her family. After the Shadow Snake and opal murder cases were solved Lord Gershom invited Beka, her siblings and Goodwin and Tunstall to supper there.
