Bud Collyer (b. June 18, 1908 - d. September 8, 1969) portrayed Superman/Clark Kent on the 1940-1950 Mutual Broadcasting System radio serial The Adventures of Superman. He also voiced Superman for the acclaimed series of cartoon shorts collectively known as Superman in conjunction with the radio show. The shorts were relased theatrically from 1941 through 1943.
