The galactic war influenced the geopolitics of the planet and was one of the factors behind a war between a vaguely-socialist nation country and a religiously-inspired country. Kraiklyn's Free Company visited the world during the war to raid the Temple of Light but were repelled by monks who had armed themselves as a result of the ongoing war.
