CT-18-2224 was a clone trooper who scored very highly in climbing at the clone training facility. He gave himself the nickname Alpine and also the unofficial designation of "mountain trooper." He wrote many letters to the Jedi Council and various Republic Senators to recognize mountain trooper as an official branch of the Clone Army, complete with a snazzy new outfit that he'd designed himself, but they all refused.
