Elected to Parliament in 3112, Vernon Rector was a candidate for the leadership of the Free Democrats in during the 3117 leadership election. Rector came in fourth place. After Fred Iler became leader, Rector was appointed Deputy Leader. Soon after, Vernon Rector became Prime Minister of Baltusia.
