JSA/JSA was a five-part storyline that ran through consecutive issues of (Volume ). It was written by Geoff Johns and pencilled by Don Kramer. Per Degaton travels back in time and manipulates events so that the Justice Society of America never come back after their initial 1951 dissolution. In the present, time traveler Rip Hunter informed the modern era JSA that they have to travel into the past to convince their predecessors that they must eventually regroup or else the future would be changed forever.
