Inky Piranha Plants are enemies appearing in Super Mario 3D Land. Instead of traps, fire or chomping, these plants splat ink on the screen to loose sight of the player. If the player blows into the microphone, the ink will wash off. They can be defeated with a ponce of Tail Whip. Inky Piranha Plants also appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team as background enemies of the dream world. They mainly blind the screen making it harder for Mario to avoid attacks from other enemies. Mario can defeat them using a Taunt Ball.
