During the war, the First Temple of the Sun was burned, and the holy altar was melted. The altar's metal was incorporated into the shield Eclipse, which was carried by the priest Derico during his final deciding campaign of the war. The priest Camien Thryce later carried the shield in a crusade against the Necromancers' Guild in Shadowspire, but it was lost when Thryce was struck down by a nosferatu in the final battle.
