Haru was an old hermit who lived in the Twilight Mountains. In 1155 he encountered a wandering sohei in the mountains, most likely Kokujin. The sohei's knowledge of the mountains, the First Oni and fascination with Fu Leng's true name made Haru very uncomfortable. Shortly after the sohei left for Shiro Heichi, Haru packed up his belongings and left the area as swiftly as he could.
