Shaun McGowan has appeared on Coronation Street playing four different roles: * A Delivery Man who in July 1996 turned up at 9 Coronation Street with a flat-pack conservatory, signed for by Gary Mallett. * A Plumber who was called out to No.4 in November 1997 when a drunken Nick Tilsley and Leanne Battersby pulled a radiator off the wall causing a leak. * PC/DS Major who was involved in the case of the Richard Hillman murders in January 2003 and the wrongful arrest and imprisonment of Les Battersby in April of the same year. * A Security Guard who in September 2014 was on duty at the development site where Rob Donovan had previously hidden the iron bar used to kill Tina McIntyre. Rob paid two lads to divert the Security Guard's attention so that he could retrieve the item.
