Lord of Rivendell was the title of Elrond, half-elven who lorded over the haven since its foundation as a refuge for those in opposition to the tyranny of Sauron in Middle-earth during the mid-Second Age. The title would have been withdrawn when Elrond departed for the West on September 29, 3021.
