The 2001 Dodge/Save Mart 350 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Infineon Raceway on June 24, 2001. Robby Gordon seemed to be on his way to victory, but Kevin Harvick, a lapped car blocked Gordon repeatedly. While the Gordon-Harvick spat began, Tony Stewart closed in. By the time Gordon was past Harvick, Stewart was past Gordon for the win. Jeff Gordon, meanwhile, finished 3rd to hold a 126-point championship lead over Dale Jarrett (26th).
