Ferenc Kuvan was the head steward and aide to Count Dreskar; he met with Al Misurata to discuss the purchase of the Travelling Rizzoli Troupe and they eventually reached a deal. Kuvan was outraged to discover the slaves escaped before he could take them to Dreskar, and refused to help search for them. At Misurata's command, Ghigno the Corsair and his guards shot Kuvan with rifles from the nearby woods, and Misurata took the money off of his corpse.
